#Trending: Topshop - Faux Pearl Front to Back Earrings

Hello there!

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last few years, you'll know that body modifications have rocketed in popularity with alternative tattoo models like Rebecca Fox taking center stage. Tattoos, piercings and stretchers are just a few of the permanent procedures you can have done to switch up your look. However, if like me you're not brave enough to commit to a tattoo just yet or go through the discomfort of stretching your ear lobes; here's a temporary solution for you.

Topshop Faux Pearl Front to Back Earrings

'Front to back' earrings are a contemporary twist on the classic earring. Keeping to the usual conventions the detail on the front is like always, but where the butterfly clip should sit behind the lobe, in it's place is another jewel or embellishment. The feature creates the illusion of a stretcher in your ear without the damage to your lobes! (It's a win win in my eyes..)
In this particular case I have found a pair from Topshop for £6.50 which feature a cubed black gem stud on the front, with a larger faux pearl to sit behind my ear.

I can't begin to explain how long I've been looking for the perfect pair to purchase, after seeing different styles all over Instagram I finally chose this pair because they I think they are quite chic, unique and with monochrome being so big at the moment I can literally wear them with everything.

Yes, they're not quite Emma Watson's Dior asymmetric pearl earrings she wore to the Golden Globes last year, but if you fell in love with her elegant earrings, you can find the dupe from ASOS for just £9!

What's your opinion of 'front to back' earrings? Will you be giving them a go?

Hope you enjoyed this post, thank you as always for reading!
