The Importance Of Doing What You Love

The Importance of Hobbies - Knitting
I'll be the first to admit, that over the years my blog postings, and content have been sporadic and a bit of a mishmash. I've always thought of my blog as a place where I can celebrate and share the things I enjoy with other people. But as I'm sure every blogger out there can understand, weeks, and even months can go by, where you feel uninspired and unmotivated, ultimately leading to a total creative slump.

The last couple of months have seen a few changes in my personal life, and whilst I've taken the time to get back into the flow of things, it's made me realise the true importance of doing what you love.

For some people that might mean finding satisfaction in a job you adore, or getting stuck into sports. But for me, it's the little things that make all the difference. As a bit of a creative soul, I find activities like knitting and writing to be incredibly therapeutic, and will definitely be rekindling my love for those hobbies in the coming weeks - I love the way that producing an end product gives you a sense of achievement and drives you to continue working towards your next goal.

There's not really any specific point to this post, it's more of a mental note to push myself back into my old hobbies again. But for anyone out there, feeling as though they're in a similar boat as me at the moment, I hope you remember that, at the end of the day, life is too short, not to do what you love.

Until next time..
