Kylie Cosmetics 'Naughty' Eyeshadow Palette Holiday Bundle Collection 2017 - First Impressions Review

After posting about the Kylie Cosmetics Nice palette yesterday, it makes sense to me to write about the Naughty palette today! The second in my five part series on the Holiday Bundle, I'm excited to share with you my honest first impressions on the Naughty palette.

An assortment of 14 shades, the palette mixes more cool toned shades than the Nice palette, with the addition of a couple of vibrant warm hues too. Like the Nice palette though, it's a really unconventional mix of colours, with mint and coral shades being thrown into the mix - neither of which say 'Christmas' to me, but surprisingly their presence really works!

The outer packaging is again glittery, but this time Kylie's swapped the candy stripes for a more foliage inspired, or at least they look like leaves to me. Te palette itself  has the same silver foil effect as 'Nice' but switches white velvet embossed lettering for emerald green - which I am obsessed with! It's a gorgeous colour that matches the makeup bag inside the bundle, and is also very festive but in a classic way.

Everything else about the palette is identical to the Nice palette, except for the shades which are as follows:

Snowball - Matte White
Xmas Kiss - Matte Tangerine
Jingle - Glitter Gold
Emerald - Matte Green
Unwrap Me - Matte Berry Red
Ho Ho Ho - Metallic Burgundy
Snowflake - Metallic Silver
Coal - Matte Grey
Merry Mint - Matte Pale Mint
Mischief - Glitter Black
St. Nick - Matte Coral
Tipsy - Matte Taupe
Hot Toddy - Matte Brown with Silver Glitter
Glazed - Metallic Gold

I was literally blown away by the pigment in Snowflake, it borderline looks like a foil effect on the skin even with the lightest touch, and I'm not usually one for silver eyeshadow but I can definitely see this getting used during the party season! As with the Nice palette though, Naughty's other metallic shades are very sheer and require a damp brush and patience to get the same level of colour payout.

Snowflake aside, my favourites from the Naughty palette have to be Unwrap Me, Hot Toddy and Ho Ho Ho, they're all super festive and wearable. In particular Unwrap Me really reminds me of a glass of mulled wine, and I can't wait to team it with a berry lipstick for a strong Autumn / Winter evening look.

Overall I'm impressed with the Naughty palette, but can definitely draw some shade comparisons to the Nice palette, which is a shame because in an ideal world they'd both be polar opposites. That said, the Naughty palette is definitely going to be useful for creative striking evening looks, whereas the Nice palette has more wearable, everyday shades - so I'm not upset at all about having both!

Which do you think is your favourite palette now that you've seen both of my posts? Leave me a comment below!

Until next time..
