Favourites: Gold / Silver Clutch Bags

I'm quite particular when it comes to bags so for me decent clutch bags are hard to come by. For a year now I've been lusting over the Alexander Mcqueen clutches (which are sadly out of my price range) so when I saw these in a little local independant fashion store I had to snap them up straight away. One silver, one gold so I can mix and match accordingly with my outfits on a night out.

The unique jeweled clasp also doubles as a ring, which not only makes holding onto the bag comfortable but also adds a statement piece of jewelry to your outfit. Plus the bags themselves are simple, rectangular in their hard shell shape and covered with glitter fabric meaning that they are classic and less likely to date against the ever changing fashions. I also loved the fact that they both came with a long chain inside so that should I need a shoulder strap the option is there.
It was definitely love at first sight for me with these and I can't wait for them to sparkle on a night out.

Thank you as always!

Accessories: Michael Kors & Cartier

No outfit is complete without accessories, they can take ordinary clothing and make it look something special. So I'm sharing the finishing touches which I added to my outfit today. I paired my coral chunky knit jumper with gold jewelery, a favourite of mine because it warms my complexion.
A year ago I received a Michael Kors watch as an end of exams gift and it has been my most prized possession ever since, anyone who knows me will know that I am rarely without a watch on my wrist and to me it's so lovely it doubles as a bracelet. Alongside the watch I wore another bracelet from Primark, gold with pearly spikes so I think it adds an edge to my overall look. Finally I added a large gold band inspired by the Cartier love ring (which I could only ever dream of owning) that I bought on eBay for only £1.99 which is a total bargain and looks the part.

Accessories: Cute New iPhone Cases

Most iPhone users will agree with me when I say that they are gadgets of beauty but living with one without a case is just way too risky, for the year I've had my iPhone 4 I have only ever had one case which has saved me from dreaded cracks on my screen, however in the last week I have unintentionally bought two amazing new cases.
The first one is this totally cute panda from Primark, a total bargain at £3! For me the most appealing thing, aside from the sweet face on the bear, is that it's made from soft bendy rubber and has a bumper so it covers all the edges of the phone; perfect for avoiding any chips. And if the panda doesn't float your boat it also comes in a cat or rabbit shape, for that price I may go and pick up the other two and complete my collection.
The other appealed less from a practical point of view and more because I have an addiction to anything that sparkles. I purchased this gem in Debenhams home department in the end of season sale for only £9 at half price! It's a hard transparent plastic so less accident proof but with all the jewels and neon colours I'm willing to take the risk.

Review: Estée Lauder Pure Color Blush

I'm always on the lookout for the perfect blush; owning a wide variety ranging from autumnal purple shades to softer peachier tones. So you can imagine my excitement when I received this Estée Lauder Pure Color Blush as a gift (my mum was particularly happy since I will no longer be pinching hers.)

This blush is number 14 Plush Petal 'Satin', aptly named in my opinion as it contains a subtle shimmer which can only be seen in certain lighting that leaves my skin with a natural glow and satin sheen which literally lasts all day regardless of which foundation I wear underneath. Highly pigmented a little goes a long way which means that this palette is definitely worth the cost of £25 from any Estée Lauder counter, plus the unique gradient allows you to blend your own desired depth of colour adding to the versatility of this product. I cannot recommend this blush enough particularly because the shade is the perfect rose petal pink which is always a favourite of mine during spring. And if all this isn't enough the gorgeous mirrored gold packaging definitely ticks all my boxes and makes a lovely addition to my dressing table.
