bewater Reusable Water Bottles - Revitalising Water with the Power of Gemstones

I'm always on the look out for innovative new ideas. I'm a creative person, so I love finding businesses which are bringing something new to the market that I didn't know I needed. So when I stumbled across bewater on Instagram, they put something on my wishlist that I didn't even know I wanted, let alone needed!

bewater have designed a range of reusable water bottles that are not only stylish, but have a very unique selling point. Each bottle has a crystal shaped chamber in the centre, filled with gemstones. Yes gemstones. If you're not into holistic healing and think it's a load of mumbo-jumbo then that's totally fine, you can buy a bottle of your choice for the aesthetic alone. But if you are into gemstones then these bottles incorporate the idea of using gems for revitalising purposes

Each bottle is filled with a different set of gemstones, said to provide a different element. From bejoy and belove, to bepower and bevitality, you select which elements you'd like to focus on and pick the bottle to suit. I myself picked up be glow, which included a mixture of Rose Quartz, Amethyst & Aventurine.

"This mixture of three powerful stones packs a punch! Rose Quartz embodies love, Amethyst inner peace and Aventurine peace and rest. This makes Glow water all about the Zen.
The health and wellbeing benefits of these three gemstones are said to include heart health, skin health (hence the Glow), relief from stress and the promotion of restful sleep. It’s the perfect combination to bring a little peace to your life and to create a little shine."
I personally really struggle with my sleep and liked the sound of it being a zen mix - with the added benefit of glowing skin, because who doesn't want that?!
The bottles hold about 650ml, and are made of plastic but are BPA & BPS free. But I know what you're thinking, because I was too - how do the crystals actually even work?
"Gemstones in turn are known to absorb and store energy and then to release it in a perfectly ordered way. This effect is what makes quartz watches work. Any variation in energy from a watch battery or mechanism is absorbed and released in perfect time by the crystal.
Each gemstone has a particular structure; a unique way that it is understood to release energy into its surrounds. The gemstones in water transfer their energy information to the water in the bottle, changing and improving the waters’ structure."

On a scientific level I feel this makes sense to me, and if you look back through history, gemstones have always been used for a number of health benefits. At the end of the day though, even if my sleep doesn't improve or my skin isn't glowing like an Instagram model, then I really don't mind at all. Because anything that encourages me to drink more water, and looks this blogger-friendly, can't be a bad thing at all.

Until next time..
